AGREEMENT FOR FILM SUBMISSION AND FILM MANAGEMENT WITH INSPIRE TV™

The INSPIRE TV™ digital online distribution platform is a dedicated independent filmmakers platform offering the international audience, on a non-exclusive basis, curated short and feature films in different genres under the umbrella of the Cultural International Festivals organization.

Trailers and information about the films and the creators’ presentation videos are available on the platform free of charge. Artists’ presentation videos are streamed free of charge. Short and Feature films are available to be streamed as follows:

  • Free of charge
  • Geoblocking is available
  • DRM (digital rights management) is available
  • Video On Demand – Proceeds are split between the INSPIRE TV™ platform (50%) and the filmmaker/producer 50%). Payments will be made within 30 days from the end of each calendar year via Paypal.
  • Donation – Proceeds are split between the INSPIRE TV™ platform (50%) and the filmmaker/producer 50%). Payments will be made within 30 days from the end of each calendar year via PayPal.
  • Selected films in INSPIRE TV™, in the Cyprus International Film Festival, the Bridges International Film Festival, and Women in Film and Television – Cyprus are eligible to be included in the INSPIRE TV™ Online Festivals quarterly at a cost of a. 20$ for a short film and b. 40$ for a feature film to be paid directly to the platform. The net revenues generated by the platform from the tickets sold are split equally between the filmmaker / producer and the Festival. Payments will be made within 30 days from the closing date of the Festival via PayPal.

Films should have English and/or Greek subtitles, if both, are even better. If some elements need to be created (e.g., Greek subtitles) we can offer you this service to create them.

By submitting your film to INSPIRE TV™ you declare that you have all rights and all music licenses for your film. The rights granted to INSPIRE TV™ herein are non-exclusive and only related to the digital platform and the online Festivals. You retain any other rights attached to the film.
You warrant that you are legally able to enter into this agreement, and will hold the platform harmless in the exercise of all rights granted to INSPIRE TV™ in this agreement. This agreement is open ended but can be canceled at any time by either party with one month written notice to the other party.

Video Guidelines for Trailers and Screeners

Movies and Trailers should be either in English or have English subtitles

MP4 or Mov 2GB- 5GB
H.264 for the video codec (compression method).
Frame rate: usually 29.97, but 24 and 25 are accepted as well.
Size and bitrate:
– Recommended 1920×1080 for 1080p HD video, 10Mbs – 20Mbs bitrate
– Also allowed
— 1280×720 for 720p HD video, 5Mbs – 10Mbs bitrate
— 640×480 for standard definition 4:3 video, 2Mbs – 5Mbs bitrate
— 640×360 for standard definition 16:9 video, 2Mbs – 5Mbs bitrate
Sound codec: AAC-LC (Advanced Audio Codec)
Sound sample rate: 48 kHz
Audio quality: constant bitrate f 320 kbps
